„November. A full moon. LOAR is recorded in an old cottage in Brandenburg by using a 130 year old Steinway piano, drums and a double bass. The compositions are confronting the seclusion of the place with a carefully created arc of suspense and the spontaneous ideas of the musicians. The shape of the pieces has a narrative character and moves between intimacy and aloofness, nearness and distance. LOAR is characterized by calm and consciousness, reverie and suddenly arising energy.
